I am a devotional singer, musician, yoga & meditation teacher, music educator, holistic voice coach, community builder, co-creator, and weaver of sacred space.

My passion lies in providing support, inspiration, guidance, and community for individuals as they traverse their own unique spiritual journey. I strive to create reverent and meaningful spaces for spiritual practice, nurturing a deep sense of connection to self, others, the world around us, and to the divine love that we all are at our essence.

Though the work I do is not always music-centered, I do love melding my love of music and truth-seeking together through the practice of sacred song and chant, meditation, contemplation, and inquiry.

Singing, alone or together, is a beautifully vulnerable and heart-opening practice, and it has been one of the most foundational and defining aspects of my life. I love sharing the gift of my voice with others, and I love empowering others to explore, share, and embody their own unique and sacred voice. I feel strongly that it is my calling to use my voice and music as a medium for creating deeply meaningful and heartfelt experiences, evoking a sense of connection to the sacred, to each other, and to all of life.

A very important aspect of this work is helping others to reclaim the practice of singing as their birthright, regardless of previous singing experience. Singing is an incredibly powerful modality for healing, ritual, expression, community building, and connection to self and others. Helping others to love, explore, and empower their own unique voice and come together in song, in community, is central to my mission as a human, teacher, and guide.

Ultimately, the spiritual practices that I facilitate all aim to help us remember the true nature of ourselves and all that is.

I received my 200 hr yoga teacher training from Laura Spaulding at Yoga East in Louisville in 2017, where I also taught Hatha Yoga for a few years following.   Since 2017, I have been leading regular local kirtans and started the kirtan band Anahata Bhakti. I have also co-created and facilitated retreats, workshops, classes, meditation circles, and provided devotional music for a wide variety of sacred events and ceremonies. I have been privileged to have taken workshops and courses with kirtan leaders Jai Uttal and Nina Rao, and spiritual teacher Adyashanti, who have offered an immensity of wisdom and to whom I offer deep bows of gratitude.  My spiritual practice is greatly influenced by the non-dualist teachings of Adyashanti, Thich Nhat Hahn, and Rupert Spira, by the Bhakti teachings of the Neem Karoli Baba lineage, and by the wonder-filled writings of Mary Oliver.
I have a Bachelor's in Music Education, concentration in vocal music, from the University of Louisville School of Music, where I studied voice under the direction of Edith Davis Tidwell and learned choral technique under the direction of Dr. Kent Hatteberg, singing in his internationally renowned choir The Cardinal Singers for six years. I spent 18 years as Alto Soloist and Director of Junior Choirs at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Louisville. I have over 25 years of varied musical performance and genre experience, both as a soloist and member of ensembles. I draw from all of this rich and varied musical experience wherever and whenever I am privileged to offer the gift of my voice.
