My #1 Recommendation for where to purchase harmoniums:
My favorite models (though anything you buy from them will be good!):
The Bhava Lite in Natural and The Bhava Lite in Mohagany for incredible portability, simplicity, minimalism, and lightness, while still having good sustain, beautiful sound, and great quality
The Bhava Studio in Dark Cedar for incredible sustain, fullness of sound, and more options with keyboard size and stops
(All models are available in a few different colors/wood options, which can effect price point and overall sound of the instrument).
If Buying Used:
Check the instrument for playability, sticking keys, rattling sounds, and test out the level of sustain before purchasing!
Care Tips:
Do not pump air into the instrument without at least one key being held down. Exit all air from instrument when packing it away/closing it up. In winter, harmoniums should be kept in a room where the humidity can be kept at 40 - 50 % in order to protect the wood from warping which can shift parts around and negatively effect playability over time.
